She’s such a Carrie
I feel like Carrie Bradshaw in this outfit. Remember how all her outfits throughout the Sex and the City series had this fun shock value but were still just crazy enough to wear in almost any setting? I think Carrie would rock this outfit for New Years Eve, not the single and living in New York City Carrie but the finally married to her Mr Big Carrie.
This shirt from CINNEL gives me that shock value, that made me fit right in with the art pieces at the Keyes Art Mile during this shoot. The shirt’s gives the shock value in its play on texture, the silk ruffles and sheer material have a sexy yet playful feel, so I paired it with a high-low skirt from Forever New, which is also playful in its cut but gives a more serious note with the stiff 50s housewife material.
To give it the last bit of sexy it needed, I completed this ensemble with my highest suede Mary Jane heels from Prada and all of a sudden I feel like I should be walking out of a high rise in New York hailing a yellow cab.
Every girl has a Sex and the City character in her and I think I am definitely a Carrie. Comment below and tell me which character you think your style brings out.
