REVIEW: Col’Cacchio

Col’Cacchio is a well know Italian Inspired restaurant that offers some of my favorite Italian inspired pizzas, pastas and salads in town. I recently took a trip to Pretoria’s Woodhill branch at Parkview Lifestyle Centre.

I really enjoy the fact that most Col’Cacchio restaurants are located in beautiful centres or malls that make them so much easier to find on GPS when one has to attend a meeting at a Col’Cacchio.

The store itself is cute rustic place with a balcony that overlooks layers and layers of greenery in the form of a golf course.

The menu hosts a colorful selection of more than thirty legendary gourmet pizza options to suit every palette, including those with food allergies or a restricted diet and the mocktails are to die for!

I think that this would be the perfect place for a first date. It offers high quality food in a relaxed atmosphere with amazingly prompt service.

For starters, I ordered my go-to Italian dish, Beef Capaccio and I was pleasantly surprised by just how fresh, fast and beautiful this dish was.

For mains, I went with a salmon pizza and the first thing I thought when tasting it was “love at first bite”, I could eat this pizza everyday! As a side for my pizza I went with one of the freshest salads I have ever had, the Gardino salad.

For dessert I went with the profiteroles, which I like to think of as heaven dipped in white chocolate. The perfect desert to share!

I am obsessed with the Col’cacchio menu and I am even more obsessed with great service, so this restaurant definitely gets two thumbs up from me!
